Q: How do I book my Shop Blessing?

• Please click on the ‘Book Now’ button to register your interest in a Shop Blessing.
• Please register by Sunday, January 26th, 2025.
• If requiring firecrackers, please register by Sunday, January 19th, 2025

2. How much should I donate/Red Pocket?

• Depending on the business and venue, red pocket donations for the Shop Blessings usually range from $80 to $880.

• The average red pocket for Sunday is around $188 to $480

• All proceeds from the red pocket are donated to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.

3. How long is a performance?

• The Big Sunday shop blessings are performed outside your venue and business. It will usually range from 5 to 10 minutes long.
  
  
• The lion does not usually bless or perform inside a venue during the Sunday Festival blessings. Extended bookings are available for other dates. Please contact the team

4. What time will my performance be?

• The ‘Big Sunday’ festival is very busy with over 100 performances, so we can not guarantee time slots.

• Your performance will be between 11am and 3pm on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025. Our team will confirm a very approximate time/window when the lion will visit your shop. This is an estimate and not a guarantee of the time.

• You may register a preferred time for your event, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

• Swanston Street businesses are usually done between 11am to 1pm

5. Are firecrackers available?

• Yes, firecrackers are available to most businesses that have a street frontage
• 1x Firecracker is $100
• 2x Firecrackers is $180
• Organised by licensed pyrotechnics from CMS Lion Dance Team
• Payment required separately by January 26th.
